Sorry (again) everyone for the long delay in updates. It's my fault. I've been a little demanding lately...
Adventures in holiday photography...
2007 Christmas picture, take 1...
2007 Christmas picture, take 7 (Sammy's not happy)...
2007 Chrismas picture, take 12 (where's Liana?)...
2007 Christmas picture take 21 (don't ask)....
Samuel's first Christmas.
Liana's second Christmas.
Fun with family...
Grampa and Uncle Bill spoiling Liana. Grampa is probably very satisfied knowing its our turn to listen to the incessant noise these toys "happen" to make. Don't worry though, Liana will have the buttons worn out before the batteries die.
Uncle Steve and Auntie Jen busted out the mother of all button-pushing, lights-flashing, music-making Christmas gifts. Liana was a little overwhelmed not knowing what to touch first. "Rockin' to the Numbers" has become staple background music.
Disney still riding Nemo all the way to the bank.
Shaylynn, Shannon, and Liana at the train station on the way to see "Finding Nemo On Ice"
We just happened to be in the mood to go to an event where screaming kids outnumbered adults three to one. So when free tix to Nemo came along, we figured what the heck?
It was a lot of fun seeing the stage and lights, etc. Liana actually sat still for the first half an hour, until her snacks ran out and the ice skating fish no longer held her interest. When she started climbing on me to pull the shoes off the kid behind us, that was our sign. The girls didn't seem to notice we were the only ones leaving as we ducked out at intermission. We're still not sure if Nemo was ever found. We sincerely hope so, for his sake.
I think we'll wait till she's a little older to try our next "sit down for an extended period of time" event.
Everyone still wants to be a kid...
Just when we think Liana has outgrown her baby toys, she spots Sammy playing with his toys. Her favorite toys now are her cell phone, her toy balls, her books of course, and whatever Sammy is playing with at the moment. We lost track of how many times she's gotten stuck in this walker. Shannon, much tougher than I, refuses to help her out when she gets stuck. It's become amusing watching her contort her way out of sitting in the thing backwards, having both feet in the same hole, one foot in one out...Somehow, she always gets out.
Potty time!
With the size of her poops increasing by the day it seems, it's time to kick potty training into high gear. She's made the connection between going and sitting, she just needs to work on her sequence. She lets us know after the fact that a load has been deposited...thanks, honey.
We've been having fun watching the Pats make history. For all the haters (and there are many), it has become apparent that 19-0 is destiny, face it. Sorry, Eli.
